On Monday, July 17, 2023, weather permitting, the Texas Department of Transportation's (TxDOT) contractor will begin paving operations between the US 79 intersections with Burleson St and Ackerman St in Rockdale. At times, traffic will be reduced to one lane, so travelers should anticipate delays and seek alternate routes if possible. Paving operations are expected wrap up on July 19, 2023.
