ALEXIS MACIK'S FAIR QUEEN candidate parade float won the People's Choice Award for the 2022 Burleson County Fair parade. The county is only one week away from start of the 2023 Burleson County Fair -- beginning with the fair parade on Saturday, Sept. 23, at 10 a.m. With a 'Lights, Camera, Action!' theme, the parade should showcase its youth stars in Burleson County. Then, Sunday evening, Sept. 24, at 5 p.m. is the county's Little Miss Contest, followed by the Baked Foods Auction and the Fair Queen Contest.
