A disaster has been declared due to extreme drought and wildfire conditions across Texas. Governor Greg Abbott on Monday issued a disaster declaration for 191 Texas counties, including Bell, Burleson, Falls, Lee, Milam, Robertson, and Williamson Counties here in Central Texas. The declaration is in response to widespread wildfire activity across the state and will allow the state to surge the deployment of additional resources and assistance in the named counties currently experiencing dangerous wildfire conditions.
