Mary Frances Burleson, who started her real estate career at $2.50 an hour and rose to be the longtime president and CEO of the Ebby Halliday Cos., died Sunday morning at age 87. For nearly three decades, Burleson was at the helm of the Ebby Halliday Cos. She helped expand the Dallas-based firm to 1,700 agents in 35 offices across three brands, becoming the largest independent residential real estate brokerage in Texas, and the 10th-largest in the nation, according to a news release. Mary Frances McClure was born on April 16, 1935.
