Xperience Restaurant Group, which operates 68 Mexican restaurants across the country, today announced its expansion into Texas with the acquisition of Rio Mambo Tex Mex y Mas and The Rim Scratch Craft Eats from Fort Worth-based RM Restaurant Group. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. XRG, which is based in Cypress, California, is known for operating casual, polished casual and fine-dining Mexican restaurants like Sol Mexican Cocina, Solita Tacos & Margaritas, Las Brisas and El Torito, its longest-running brand.
